Rostrata Country House offers you a relaxed stay in the Heart of the Golden Triangle, providing a perfect base for exploring the area. Set on the side of the hill overlooking the Dead Log Creek, this secluded setting allows you to "step back in time” and experience the life style of a bygone era.
Enjoy the secluded, restful atmosphere of this working farm. Relax on the front veranda with a wine or coffee and watch the Blue Wrens, honey eaters and others birds flitting around the garden. Wander through the Nostalgia Shed with its historic display of items of the past.
Rostrata was built in 1904 when Ted Silke, married the local School Teacher. Ted’s Shed is a tribute is to Colin’s Grandfather and his wife Mary, and is furnished with items from the past.
To see the local landscapes, Rostrata's Rolling Rides offer the opportunity to explore the local area, showcasing the various environments and points of interest in the area.
The Natural Reserve of the Dead Log Creek is great for twitchers, photographers, or relaxing and enjoying the soft sounds of Nature.
